Aequitas education

Supporting high-quality education in the liberal arts for all people.

Classical Learning

Proper education does not rely on modern tricks or gimmicks for learning, but rather on the self-discipline of students and the natural joy of learning the True, the Good, and the Beautiful.

High Expectations

Proper education is one that upholds a standard of excellence and is based on the truth that students will achieve their best potential when challenged with high expectations.

Moral Character

Students educated in a holistic program are more likely to develop a strong moral character and live a life of virtue.

Civic Virtue

Students should be taught not only how to excel in academics, but also how to excel in their communities and how to act for the Common Good of all.

Sacred Heart Cathedral has announced that they will be building a new facility on the parish grounds. This means that Sacred Heart Cathedral School would become once again a parochial school, as it was in its first location downtown over 100 years ago.

Aequitas Education has also offered to provide curriculum development and support for Sacred Heart school to transition it to a classical education model. Catholic schools have traditionally used classical education as a means to form the faithful in living fully for Jesus Christ “with all their heart, and with all their soul, and with all their mind” (cf. Mt. 22:37).
